Hello friends! Today I wanted to share a quick makeover I did on this cute vintage vanity from Craigslist. My daughter Natalia had been wanting one of these for some time. We ended up selling her small white desk for $45.00 and bought the vanity for $60.00. I ended up spending $15.00 on it-a great deal for a cute vanity like this one. I could not pass it up! Here is an “after” picture:

The desk came with a square mirror that was a bit damaged and decided to replace it with this one from IKEA. The cute chair is a DI find that I stained and reupholstered with the same fabric I used for the curtains (you can see them on the mirror reflection). Here is a picture of the “before” vanity:

I decided to keep the stain on the drawers and paint pretty much everything else. I sanded the whole thing lightly and then painted with a latex paint from Sherwin Williams:

To finish, I rubbed the whole thing with a bit of brown wax and then sealed it with clear satin polyurethane. Very cute, right? A very simple project. Let me know what you think!
