Hi there! I’m Janice. I recently found interest in power tools and everything DIY.

My sister Beverly has great vision and creativity and I’ve got computer skills  so we are the perfect pair for DIY blogging:)!  Love you sis!

I am a busy mom and most recently a grandma. I work as a college professor as well. Something else about me? I am a breast cancer survivor!

• Being active
• Fashion (especially shoes!)
• Shopping at IKEA…oh man do I love IKEA!
• Having an organized home (daily battle!)
• Shopping at Lowe’s and Home Depot
• Spending time with my family
• Watching my kids play and perform in school productions
• Watching HGTV! My favorite shows are Fixer Upper and Flip or Flop!
• BLOGGING!!!!! I really love to teach! so much so that I love to teach on this blog during my summers off from teaching college 🙂

I live in West Point, Utah which is 3 hours away from Beverly! …So sad (though our husbands like it that way because we spend less money when we live apart) 🙂 I have 2 married children, one son serving a mission in Guatemala and 1 teen daughter who still lives at home. I spoil her with all my DIY projects 🙂
